We kicked off 2025 in style with a star-studded celebration at the Tokyo Industries Golden Frog Awards, held at the Manchester hot spot, DieCast! PinkBee Entertainment had the incredible honour of coordinating and curating an Oscars/Night at the Movies-themed evening, packed with show-stopping performances, dazzling costumes, and iconic pop culture moments.
DieCast provided the perfect backdrop for this epic event – a cutting-edge venue that brought the perfect fusion of luxury, glamour, and high-energy vibes. From the moment guests arrived, they were transported into a world of cinematic fantasy and over-the-top entertainment.
The Showstoppers
We pulled out all the stops to ensure that the entertainment was top-tier:
- Stormtroopers on Arrival: The evening began with an epic entrance, with our performers in full Stormtrooper gear, adding that instant Star Wars magic as they greeted guests with iconic poses and light saber action. This set the tone for a night of dazzling surprises!
- Dancer in a Martini Glass: Channeling the roaring 20s and the opulence of the Great Gatsby, we had a stunning dancer performing inside a huge Martini glass, bringing the glitz and glamour of Hollywood to the event. It was a truly unforgettable sight!
- Dancing Deadpool: The fun and quirky spirit of the night was amplified by Deadpool himself, making his way onto the floor with an energetic dance routine that had everyone laughing and cheering.
- Star Wars Light Show: The night truly came to life with our Star Wars Jedi – inspired light show, which illuminated the venue in a symphony of glowing colours, transporting the guests into a galaxy far, far away.
- LED Aerialist: Our LED aerialist performed breathtaking stunts high above the crowd, creating stunning visuals with glowing lights as they soared through the air. Their acrobatics were the highlight of the evening, leaving everyone in awe.
- Drunken Sailor: Bringing some cheeky fun to the evening, our drunken sailor roamed the event, adding a touch of playful humour and theatricality to the atmosphere.
- Elphaba’s Wicked Paint Show: Staying true to the Wicked theme, Elphaba (the iconic green witch) performed a paint show that wowed the crowd. This immersive, visually striking performance created a memorable tribute to the beloved musical.
- Burlesque Christina Aguilera-Inspired “Good Girl” Routine: And to top off the entertainment, we had a Burlesque performance, inspired by Christina Aguilera’s sultry “Good Girl” routine. This jaw-dropping act brought the perfect blend of elegance and allure to the stage, leaving the audience spellbound.
An Immersive Experience at DieCast
DieCast is one of Manchester’s most sought-after venues, and it was the perfect setting for the Golden Frog Awards. The industrial, yet sleek aesthetic of DieCast provided the ideal backdrop for the dynamic entertainment we brought to the event, ensuring every performance stood out in the most unforgettable way. From breathtaking aerial stunts to immersive light shows, the venue’s striking interior made each act even more spectacular.
The Oscars/Night at the Movies theme came to life in every corner, and our talented performers made sure to keep the excitement flowing all night long, creating a cinematic atmosphere with a touch of PinkBee flair.
